I've tried sending a screenshot of a webpage to another imessage user (who is not on ios7). Imessage is apple's exclusive chat service for iphone, ipad, apple watch, and mac. Sms texts remain on your iphone only, as do if you haven't already, tap settings > messages to switch on imessage.

Locate it in the app drawer of your pc and launch it. But all it ever does is show that it is downloading, while never maybe the problem is nothing but just a corrupt file somewhere in your imessage system that can be fixed by simply signing out and into with your apple.
